Our Fallen

Andy died after being struck by a vehicle within the Camp Holland complex at Tarin Kowt. He has been laid to rest near the Camp Holland kennel complex alongside fellow fallen Explosive Detection Dogs 'Merlin' and 'Razz'.

Andy's death was keenly felt by the soldiers in Oruzgan Province and the wider Royal Australian Engineers, particularly by the specialist dog handlers.

Andy was the third Army Explosive Detection Dog to die on operations.

The two year old Kelpie-cross joined the Army in 2007 and was on his first tour of Afghanistan.
